The Monarchs’ Gregg Coulson appeared in his 300th career MABL game last Sunday, becoming only the 9th person to accomplish the feat.
Since entering the league during the Summer 2010 season as a member of the Upcountry Dirtbags, Coulson has suited up for the La Perouse Pirates (Summer 2011-Summer 2012), the Kihei Centipedes (Spring 2013), the South Side Scorpions (Summer 2013-Spring 2014), the Pacific Hurricanes (Summer 2014-Spring 2022), and now the Kaanapali Coast Monarchs (Summer 2022-present).
When the Hurricanes became the Monarchs in after the Spring 2022 season, Gregg had played more games in the ‘Canes green and yellow (185) than anyone else in franchise history. He was named the Spring 2019 Manager of the Year for the job he did running the squad that season.
Coulson joins Andy Michaels (351 career games), Kevin Spaise (349), Tom Kowalick (345), Josh Meier (343), Mike Marcotte (326), Jonah Abreu (322), Rich Doster (321), and John Ito (315) as players to appear in 300 career MABL games.
Congratulations, Gregg!
