John Lamb of the Lahaina Warriors was named the Maui Adult Baseball League’s September 2022 Player of the Month after receiving 45% of the 318 votes cast in the online poll. The big lefty continued a historically dominant season by striking out 20 bats over 9.0 innings in September, while not allowing a single earned run. Through the first two months of the Summer 2022 season, Lamb is 3-0 with a 0.37 ERA over 24.1 IP. His 17.01 K/9 rate and 0.70 WHIP are on pace to surpass the current full single-season MABL records.
