It had been over 5 years since “Iron Mike” Gerrity missed a game for the West Maui Brewers, however Gerrity’s record-setting streak came to an end last Sunday after 163 consecutive games.
Since the streak began, on May 21, 2017, Gerrity played shortstop for two Championship squads, hit over .400 twice (leading the league in hits during the Spring 2022 season), and cemented his place in the MABL record books with a mark that won’t soon be matched.
Total stud! Not just “there” but always an impact player as well.
