Vote for February POTM

The Spring 2026 Maui Adult Baseball League season got underway with games starting on January 25. While rain has forced some rescheduling, most teams have been in action more often than not over the past 5 weeks. The Kihei Centipedes (3-0), West Maui Brewers (3-1), and Lahaina Warriors (3-2) are leading the way with 3 wins a piece as we head into March, with a busy slate of games to come.

The February 2026 MABL Player of the Month poll highlights the performances of some of the major contributors to this point in the season. In addition, we would like to highlight Berlien & Co. Construction Management for their support of the Maui Adult Baseball League. The Makena Sharks’ Kale Kaalekahi started his MABL career with a 1.50 ERA and 11 Ks over 12.0 innings. The former Seattle Mariner farmhand has held opposing hitters to a .200 batting average while pitching to a 1.25 WHIP over his first three appearances this season.

Kanale Kahalekai started the Spring 2026 season on a tear, batting .571 (8 for 14) with a pair of doubles and 5 runs scored over three games for the Centipedes.

In his second season with the Warriors, Damian Polinsky appears to be finding his groove. Over his first 5 games, Damian is batting .529 (9 for 17) with a double, two triples, and 7 RBIs.

The Brewers’ Lance Simpson leads all MABL hitters with a .667/.684/1.111 AVG/OBP/SLG slash line. Lance has 12 hits, 6 for extra bases, through his first 4 games of the season.

Ryder Souza is swinging a hot bat for the Nahiku Gorillas to open up 2026. Ryder is hitting .455 (5 for 11) through his team’s first three games, including a 3-hit game against the Centipedes on Feb 15.
