The La Perouse Pirates and Nahiku Gorillas are moving on after wins in the opening round of the Maui Adult Baseball League Spring 2026 Playoffs.
The Pirates are advancing after defeating the Upcountry Dirtbags 10-0. As the 4-seed, they will face the 2-seed West Maui Brewers in the semi-final round. That best-of-three series will begin next Sunday at 1:15pm at Eddie Tam Memorial Park in Makawao.
The Gorillas picked up the first playoff win in franchise history, defeating the Lahaina Warriors 8-7 in a closely fought contest last Sunday. They will face off against the 1-seed and 3-time defending champion Kihei Centipedes with that series beginning at 10:00am Sunday in Makawao.
