The Summer 2020 season wrapped up on December 20 with the MABL All-Star Game and HR Derby at Eddie Tam Park in Makawao. The Mauka team, made up of players representing the Dirtbags, Pirates, Warriors, and Centipedes defeated the Makai team, comprised of players from the Rays, Brewers, and Hurricanes, 10-3. The day’s festivities concluded with the HR Derby, which featured 8 of the league’s top hitters. In a rematch of the top two contenders last year, the Centipedes’ Anthony Valeriano (7 total) edged out defending HR Derby champion Mike Abercrombie (6) of the Brewers. Wyatt Martensen (3) of the Brewers also advanced past the initial round. The full HR Derby results are listed below.
