Isaiah Maddela of the Makena Royals was named the MABL Player of the Month for August 2022. Maddela received 44% of the 211 votes cast in the online poll. The Baldwin HS graduate helped the Royals to an undefeated opening month of the season with a .750/.800/1.250 AVG/OBP/SLG line with 4 runs scored and 5 RBIs.
