The match-up is set for the Maui Adult Baseball League’s Summer 2022 Championship Series with the teams sporting the top two records in the regular season battling for the title. The Makena Royals went 11-1 in the regular season, earning the top seed and defeating the West Maui Brewers two games to none to advance to the Championship Series. After missing the playoffs entirely last season, the Kihei Centipedes posted a 8-4 record to capture the second seed, before sweeping the La Perouse Pirates in the semi-final round to reach the Championship.
