Maui Adult Baseball League players interested in competing for the chance to be named the league’s top home run hitter are invited to submit their names below.
As part of the All-Star Game festivities on June 30, the league will host a Home Run Derby at Maehara Stadium. The contest will be comprised of 12 players, one from each of the 8 teams in the league, and 4 additional players that will be “voted in” by an online ballot.
Each contestant will participate in an initial, timed round, with those with the top Home Run totals advancing to a final round. To facilitate longballs, aluminum bats will be permitted (-3 BBCOR, provided by event organizers). The winner of the event will receive a gift certificate to justbats.com of comparable value to a new wood bat.
