The Kihei Centipedes’ Anthony Valeriano wins the September 2021 Player of the Month! He received 47% of the 141 total votes cast. It has been a ‘next man up’ approach for the 2nd place Centipedes of late, and Valeriano carried the offense last month. He has continued his pace into October thus far, going 5 for 9 with 3 RBIs, as the Centipedes look to battle the Royals, Pirates, and Rays for the 1st place spot with three games remaining! In recognition of his achievement, Anthony will receive an MABL t-shirt.
The Summer 2021 season is nearing its end, with the top 4 teams separated by two games and the battle for the final postseason spot still up for grabs by the Brewers, Dirtbags, Warriors, and Hurricanes. The action continues next weekend at both Maui High and Lahaina.
