Both the #3 seed Rays and #4 seed Dirtbags swept their 2nd round playoff match-ups to advance to the Summer 2017 season Championship series.
After knocking off the Royals during the first round of the playoffs, the Dirtbags won two close games against the #1 seed Pirates. The Rays defeated the Centipedes, and then the #2 seed Brewers to advance to the championship.
The championship series will be held December 10 and 17 at Maui High.
