The Maui Adult Baseball League received a $12,000 donation from the Discovery Land Company Foundation to cover expenses associated with replacing baseball equipment and uniforms lost by members of the MABL community as a result of the Lahaina wildfires.
While the loss of baseball equipment pales in comparison to other losses these individuals have been faced with, it is an obstacle the MABL is grateful to be able to help address. Mahalo nui loa to the Discovery Land Company Foundation and everyone who helped make this donation a possibility.
An additional donation from our friends in the Honolulu Baseball League will allow us to offer all members of the MABL who were directly affected by the wildfires complimentary registration to the MABL Golf Tournament next month, or the option to receive a monetary donation of comparable value.
