Maui Adult Baseball League players interested in competing for the chance to be named the league’s top home run hitter are invited to submit their names below.
As part of the All-Star Game festivities on December 15, the league will host a Home Run Derby at Makawao’s Eddie Tam Park. The contest will be comprised of 12 players, one from each of the 8 teams in the league, and 4 additional players that will be “voted in” by an online ballot.
Each contestant will participate in an initial, timed round, with those with the top Home Run totals advancing to a final round. To facilitate longballs, contestants are permitted to swing aluminum bats if desired (a selection will be provided by event organizers). The winner of the event will receive a new, fully customized wood bat from Trinity Bat Company.
