Following record voter turnout(!), Elias Steadman of the La Perouse Pirates was voted the January 2021 MABL Player of the Month. He received 55% of the 310 votes cast, edging out the strong push from Royals fans for slugger Gered Mochizuki. Despite missing Game 4 this past weekend, Steadman still maintains a 4 RBI lead over two second-place Pirates(!) hitters. He and the Pirates will look to continue their streak in Week 5 against the defending champs at Maui High.
In recognition of his achievement Steadman will receive an MABL t-shirt. Check in a few weeks to help select the MABL Player of the Month for February.
