The Makena Royals swept the Central Rays, two games to none, to win the Summer 2021 Maui Adult Baseball League Championship Series. After overcoming a 8-1 deficit to take game 1 in extra innings by a final of 9-8, the Royals closed out their second title in three seasons with a 9-5 win Sunday, January 2.
