The La Perouse Pirates and Kihei Centipedes will meet in the Spring 2025 Maui Adult Baseball League Championship Series June 1 and 8 at Maehara Stadium. These teams finished the regular season as the #1 and #2 seeds, respectively, with identical 10-4 records.
The Pirates, who won both regular season matchups with the Centipedes this season, overcame an 0-1 deficit in their semi-final round series with the Lahaina Warriors, winning games 2 and 3 last Sunday to advance to their first Championship Series since they defeated the Makena Royals (also overcoming a 0-1 deficit) to end the Spring 2021 season.
The Centipedes swept the Upcountry Dirtbags 2 games to none to advance to their 6th straight MABL Championship Series. They will be attempting to defend their Summer 2024 title which would give them 4 titles in the past 5 seasons.
