The Kihei Centipedes and Lahaina Warriors will face off in the Summer 2024 Championship Series December 1 and 8 at Eddie Tam Memorial Park in Makawao.
The Centipedes return to their fifth consecutive Championship Series, winning two of the previous four, most recently the Summer 2023 title. After going 10-2 in the regular season and earning the top seed in the playoffs, the ‘Pedes fought back from a 0-1 hole in their series against the Upcountry Dirtbags, winning games 2 and 3 last Sunday to advance.
The Warriors will play in the first Championship Series since they won it all during the Spring 2015 season. The Warriors finished the regular season 8-4, good for the second seed in the playoffs, and also overcame a 0-1 deficit by sweeping games 2 and 3 against the La Perouse Pirates last weekend.
Game 1 of the series will be this Sunday at 10am, while games 2 and 3 (if necessary) will be played next Sunday, December 8 at Eddie Tam at 10am and 1:15pm, respectively.
